Hi, i’m Karen. I am an academic, performer and filmmaker who likes to travel. I have three children who are all growing up pretty quickly and a husband, Dominic. We all live in Lincolnshire in the U.K.

My blog will mostly be about my travel experiences, sometimes with my family and sometimes alone. There may be other musings on themes such as: citizenship, empathy, motherhood, parenting, domesticity, career, art, desire, success, heritage, futures,  performance, feminism, philosophy…
